Father’s Day on the Road

By June 15, 2014 Events

What do you do on Father’s Day? For me, it’s about re-balancing the universe – spending time with my family … maybe having a nap. Ang made a Jalapeno/Quinoa scramble for breakfast and the boys got an opportunity to play video games, board games and hit the pool. In the evening, we introduced our fellow travelers to the Midwestern delicacy known as Ro-Tel Cheese Dip as we watched another movie, “How to Train Your Dragon,” beneath the star-filled sky.

We also used the dinnertime conversation to vote on a name for our flamingo mascot and settled on Rosie (the other finalist was Marty) after a surprisingly lengthy and well-argued debate.
